Meet our support workers
Nicola holds a Bachelor of Counselling, obtained from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors. Nicola has a range of experience across the mental health and child protection industries, both as a front line worker and manager, with over a decade of management experience.
Nicola has a vast knowledge base with a keen interest in trauma, childhood development, domestic and family violence, attachment, and neuroscience. Nicola is a registered Circle of Security Parenting facilitator, with this program having a strong focus on attachment and bonding.
In her spare time, Nicola enjoys creating with her Cricut machine and taking day trips with her young family.
Cayson has been a support worker for a number of years, and is currently completing a Bachelor in Psychologial Science alongside their work. As a neurodiverse person and part of the LGBTQIA+ community, they are excellent at building rapport and relationships, and is always seeking to expand their world view and life experience.
They are also involved in the admin side of Left of Centre, assisting with graphic and web design, advertising, and PA duties.
Outside of work, Cayson is usually shopping with their partners, making resin art, playing D&D, or working on one car or another.
Cyndall is a Support Worker at Left of Centre.
Lyla's 24 years of experience in schools and working with children needing extra support provides her with the knowledge of the ins and outs of bureaucracy, making her the perfect person to help you advocate for your child as you navigate education and support settings.
